Weed and Seed has two safe havens in the area. One in Homestead, located at the Phichol Williams Sr. Community Center, 951 SW 4th Street, Homestead, Florida 33030 and our other site is located at Florida City Elementary School, 364 NW 6th Avenue, Florida City, Florida 33034.
Our safe havens are multi-service centers where a variety of youth and adult services are coordinated in a highly visible, accessible facility that is secure against crime and illegal drug activity. It is a place where youth and other residents can access needed services, develop relationships, find opportunities to be successful, and enhance skills.
We have programs that consist of academic tutoring, mentoring, recreation, anti-gang education, youth and family counseling, summer day camp and much, much more.
